INTRODUCTION

Hello – we are Topps Europe Limited (Toppsweour, or us), the company who are letting you use the Match Attax App. The App is designed for both children and adults.

The law says we need to tell you about how we use your information before we collect it, which is why children should make sure they read and understand this document before they use our App. This document is called a privacy policy.

This is a much shorter version of our privacy policy. This children’s privacy policy is designed to be read by children and is written in plain and simple language. A copy of our general Privacy Policy for adults can be found here. We have carefully thought about who our youngest users are and addressed this policy to their specific age range. There is a lot of further information which is not in this simplified privacy notice because we think it may be too complex for our youngest users to understand – the additional information is very important however and should be explained to children by their parents or guardians with reference to our general Privacy Policy.

The key point to understand is that the law requires us to keep your information safe – this includes all of the information which you give us when you use our App. This document explains all the important information you need to know about how we look after your information. If there is anything that you don’t understand in this policy, speak to your parents or guardians or feel free to contact us.

WHO ARE WE AND HOW WE LOOK AFTER YOUR INFORMATION

Topps Europe Limited is responsible for your “personal data”. But what is personal data exactly? Personal data means any information that can be used to identify someone, such as a name, email address, home address, telephone number and other information which helps  to identify a person.

We are the “data controller” which means that we are the company who is in charge of the personal information which we collect from you when you use our App.

How to contact us

If you want to ask us any questions, you can do so by contacting us in the following ways:

  • email:  https://topps-tcg-apps.helpshift.com/ ; or
  • write to us: 18 Vincent Avenue, Milton Keynes, England, MK8 0AW.

If you are not happy with the way we have handled your personal data, you have a right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). The ICO is in charge of data protection in the UK. If you download the App outside of the UK, you can complain to the body who is in charge of data protection in that country.

Changes to this policy

Sometimes we might need to change the policy, for example if we need to tell you something new about how we wish to use your information. If we do change it, we will let you know at the top of this page or a pop-up will tell you next time you login to the App.

WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU AND HOW WE COLLECT IT

We collect your email address from you when you register to use and login to the App, when you buy something in the App, contact us, request to find out a password you have forgotten, if you use the App through different devices and when you report a problem with the App to us. If you get in touch with us, we will keep a record of it.

We need your email address so we can let you have access to and use our App – without this we wouldn’t be able to set up an account for you.

Other than this, we collect some other information from your mobile phone but this is all kept anonymised, which means that neither we nor anyone else can link that data to you in any way. We collect this information automatically, both to make our App more interesting and useful and for us to understand how the App is doing. For more information please see our general Privacy Policy and ask your parents or guardians to explain the relevant section to you.

We don’t collect any “sensitive” information about you. For instance, information about your sex, religion, health or ethnic origin – we don’t need this from you.

HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

We will only use your personal data if we are allowed to under law. We will generally only use your information where we have thought about it and we think it is fair on you (and us) to do so. Please see our general Privacy Policy and ask your parents or guardians to explain the relevant section about this to you for further information.

We will only collect your information when we need to and when we have collected it will use it to provide the App to you, get in touch with you when we need to and comply with the law.

WHO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH

We share your personal data with people who help us run the App. Without their help we would not be able to give you the best experience. We also share your data with companies within the Topps family of companies (some of which are based outside the UK) and with other companies who are not part of Topps family. We might also need to share your data to comply with our obligations under the law.

Where we let others use your personal data we make sure they protect it in the same way that we do.

SENDING YOUR DATA TO OTHER COUNTRIES

We may need to transfer your personal data to another country. Where we do so, we ensure that your personal data is protected in the same way when it travels to that new country and when it arrives there. You can contact us for more information about this.

DATA SECURITY

We protect your personal data as much as we can to protect it from being lost, damaged or stolen. We have various security measures in place to protect your data and you can contact us for more information about this.

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR DATA

Your data is kept for as long as you use the App and will not be stored for longer than we need to – we will not keep your information forever.

You can ask you to delete your account. If you ask us to do this, we will close your account straight away and will remove it from our live systems. Contact us or see our main Privacy Policy for further information about this.

You have rights in relation to your data. You have the right at any time:

  • to find out and see all your personal data that we collect about you.
  • to ask us to correct your personal data where it is wrong or incomplete.
  • to ask us to delete your personal data.
